DDR5 Memory Population Rule Restriction on R1520G6/R2520G6.
R1520G6/R2520G6 supports DDR5 RDIMMs with the following feature:
• 8 channels DDR5, Up to 6400 MT/s (1DPC), 5200MT/s (2DPC)
This means If plug 6400MHz RDIMM on R1520G6/R2520G6, the memory speed can
work on 5200 MT/s in 2DPC.
If plug lower than 6400MHz RDIMM, the speed will downgrade to 4800 MT/s.
The
following is the memory population table, which you can refer to set the appropriate
memory configuration on page 94,95 of Technical Service Guide.
