How to Upload VROC or BMC Management Key

Upload via BMC Web Console

1. Login to Integrated BMC Web Console.

2. Click “Configuration” in menu bar and click “License Management”.


3. Click “Choose File” and select license key file (*.v2c) then click "Open" then "Upload"


5. BMC Web console will prompt “Key update success.” if successful


7. Key information will be displayed if uploaded.


Upload by UEFI command (syscfg.efi needed)

1. Boot to UEFI 

2. Path to file location (syscfg.efi needs to be in same location)

3. Enter "syscfg.efi /lic [license_file]"

4. Will prompt if uploaded successful

4. Enter "syscfg.efi /d lic" to check license.


The same commands work in Linux as well with "syscfg"
