HOWTO UPDATE BIOS/BMC LOGO TO R1520G6 AND R2520G6

Step 1: Click this https://preprodservertools.mitaccomputing.com/  to open the Pre-production Servertools web. Then click Firmware Customization Portal.
               

Step 2:  Enter your Microsoft credentials as shown below.

               

Step 3:  Select R520G6 Family 

        

Step 4:  Click Splash Screen tab and click Upload then select the BIOS Logo with 800 x 600 8bit or 24 bit format.



Step 5:  Click BMC tab

             5.1  You can set background color and header color if needed.




                 5.2  Click Upload (Main) then select Banner logo, then click Upload (Login) then select Web Logo for Login.

              

Step 6:  Click Generate Package button in red box, then enter Package Name then click Generate button.



Step 7:  Save the file to a folder.

              

Step 8:  Extract All, then copy R2520G6_FUP_ww31 to the root directory of USB flash drive.

             


Step 9:  Boot into UEFI: Built-in-Shell, then cd R520G6_FUP_ww31, then issue start.nsh.

            


Step 10:  After FUP Update, you will see DataON logo during POST.

              

Step 11:  When you access BMC WebGUI, you will also see DataON logo too
