Function Description:

This function is used to configure the Link Speed and Duplex Mode of the server’s network interfaces

With Auto Negotiation, the device automatically selects the optimal mode. If disabled, manual configuration is required.

 

2.     
Parameter Description:

LAN Interface
: Select the required network interface from the list to which the Link speed and duplex mode to be configured.

Auto Negotiation
: This option enables the device to perform automatic configuration to achieve the best possible mode of operation (speed and duplex) over a link.

Link Speed
: It lists all the supported capabilities of the network interface. It can be 10/100/1000 Mbps.

Note: The link speed of 1000 Mbps is not applicable, when Auto Negotiation is OFF. Duplex Mode: Duplex Mode could be either Half Duplex or Full Duplex.

Save
: To save the settings.

 

3.     
Procedure:

a.      
select Settings → Network Link, The system will display the Network Link   

Configuration Page
.

b.      
Select the LAN Interface

c.       
Select either Enable or Disable for Auto Negotiation.

Note: If disabled, you must manually configure Link Speed and Duplex Mode.

d.      
Select the Link Speed from the drop-down list.

e.      
Select the Duplex Mode:
- Full Duplex
- Half Duplex

f.        
Click Save to save the configuration.
