Why TNP / DNP all nodes BMC port assigned IP when plug in network cable in 1 node only

Why TNP / DNP all nodes BMC port assigned IP when plug in network cable in 1 node only

Symptom:
Installed networking cable in 1 node only ,but others nodes BMC assigned IP as well.



Solution :
Please check system rear side if installed EMP module .
As below diagram , EMP module H/W design serial connect all nodes BMC port , so all nodes BMC port will be assigned IP if installed networking cable in one node BMC port.

We suggest customer do not connect LAN cable in front panel if system equipped EMP module ,Or please remove EMP module if have to install network cable in front panel
